Tekram USA M.2 NVMe Cages:

The Tekram series of backplane cages has been optimized for M.2 NVMe SSDs and is compatible with both PCIe 3.0 and PCIe 4.0. Testing has been shown with PCIe 4.0 SSDs to reach speeds up to 7400 Mbps Reading and 7000 Mbps Writing. The Tekram Cage series supports Areca, Broadcom and LinkReal cards.

What is OCuLink?

OCuLink stands for "Optical Copper (Cu) Link" and is a PCI Express (PCIe) connector that uses a small cable form factor that is optimized for interconnect use and is capable of providing up to 32 Gbps in each direction within a four-lane configuration. With NVMe U.2 drives, the OCuLink protocol can be used over the U.2 connector. OCuLink can be used for internal and external PCIe attached storage, PCIe I/O expansion or as a connection from the motherboard.
